Step up to the plate for the Rogers Public Library!

9th Annual Spelling BEE and Silent Auction
Thursday, June 25th
Fun Begins at 5:30 p.m.
Rogers Heritage High School Auditorium

This BEE is not your typical old-fashioned spelling bee, it is an adult team event with an added baseball twist that guarantees lots of family fun and laughs.  Join neighborhood friends, school teachers, lawyers, bankers, reporters and others for some friendly competition.

Our auction will include autographed books by new and bestselling authors, children’s books and literary themed items.

It’s two strikes and you’re out. It’s fun, it’s funny, it’s a family event.  Get your concessions here.  Popcorn, hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks will be available for purchase.

Come out and support the Rogers Public Library!

Funds raised through the BEE this year will affect the lives of more than 3,600 children during National Children’s Book Week and Summer Reading Clubs.  During National Children's Book Week, Rogers Public Schools 4th and 5th grade classes come to the Library for a special program about Library resources available to them and their families.  These visits have been expanded to include in-person book talks by regionally and nationally known children's authors.  Our Summer Reading Clubs were designed to encourage children to read during the summer months when they do not go to school.   We believe that reading is not only educational and informational, but is a recreational pursuit that should be fostered.
